Frequently Asked Questions
Is it worth the investment?
A typical 4-year college education can be expensive, costing up to $300,000 at private institutions. Investing in a LS Student Success Coach is a small fraction of this cost and crucial for student success. Coaches provide 15-30 sessions, assist with resumes and applications, and offer support for student athletes while staying updated on educational trends. Their extensive knowledge and research translate to significant advantages for students. In 2023, LS Diamonds helped a senior cohort of 30 secure over $1,000,000 in grants and scholarships, while also providing benefits like college admissions support, FAFSA assistance, major selection, and interview preparation.
Do I have to pay everything at once?
LS Student Success Coaching offers many different payment plans based on each family’s personal needs. During the initial consultation we will present options, and when a need is identified, work with you to create a personalized payment plan that accommodates your budget.
Do you guarantee acceptance?
It is against the Code of Ethics of the National Association of College Admission Counselors to offer any type of guarantee of acceptance. We have zero control over the past academic performance of the student or the final decision of the university officers. We at LS Diamonds Student Success Coaching work ethically to ensure students stand out in their application.
Do you coach international students?
International students have a broad set of unique requirements. We are in the process of developing a separate track for international students. If you are an international student or represent an international student, please contact us so we can provide specific options for you.
Do you write the student’s essays?
No.  Aside from writing the student’s essay being unethical, we would do a disservice to the student. Students will have to write hundreds of essays in college and need to learn to master this skill. LS Student Success Coaches brainstorm ideas with the student, review essay drafts, and provide guidance on grammar, syntax, and tone.
